Weather Update: There will be rain in these states today, know IMD forecast

Weather Update: 

The Southwest monsoon is progressing continuously. It is estimated that the monsoon will reach Kerala tomorrow i.e. on May 30. Monsoon will become more active as soon as it reaches here. On the other hand, due to its effect, there is a possibility of rain in different areas in the coming days in the state.

Meanwhile, there is good news for the people living in Delhi-NCR. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather will be normal here for the next three-four days and people will continue to get relief from the heat. There is no possibility of a heatwave in Delhi-NCR for the next few days.

According to the IMD, there will be partly cloudy sky in Delhi-NCR in the next one or two days. Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida and Gurugram are expected to see partly cloudy sky, thundershowers and light rain over the next two days. On the other hand, the temperature is expected to drop in neighboring areas like South Haryana and parts of Uttar Pradesh due to rain.

 According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), during the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of rain in some parts of Northeast India, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. On the other hand, there is a possibility of light rain in some parts of Western Himalayas and South and Coastal Karnataka.

According to the IMD forecast, light rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh today. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in parts of Northeast Rajasthan, Delhi and Haryana of UP.

Moderate rain and thundershowers are very likely to occur over Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep during the next 5 days.

Rainfall will also occur over Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during the next 5 days.

Moderate rain is likely over Northeast India and West Bengal and Sikkim in next 5 days. Thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal.

There is a possibility of heavy rain in West Bengal and Sikkim on 30th and 31st May and Arunachal Pradesh on 1st June. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Assam-Meghalaya from May 28 to June 1 and in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on
