Gujarat Titans chose to bat first after winning the toss against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Wankhede Stadium and captain Hardik Pandya played a powerful inning of 62 runs for his side to put 168 runs on board with the contribution of Miller’s quick 34.
Meanwhile, a dangerous and shocking incident happened on the pitch when Pandya’s bat went flying in the air in the 10th over of the game. On the last delivery of the over by Glenn Maxwell, Pandy struck with so much force that the bat slipped from his hand and flew far away from him.
Nobody was hurt on the ground but the incident left everyone in shock and amusement as the reaction of the audience said, “what just happened”.
