Very heavy rainfall alert in these states for next 5 days; Details inside

The weather pattern is changing in many areas of the country for the last two-three days. In many states including Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, pre-monsoon rains have given relief to the people from the heat. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rain and lightning in many states even today. According to the department, till May 26, there will be an effect of western disturbance in many areas and there is a possibility of rain during this period.

IMD said that there will be intermittent rain in Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh for the next 24 hours. During this, strong winds will blow at a speed of 30-40 km / h. The department had also predicted hailstorms. At the same time, due to rain, there is a possibility of a drop of 3-4 degrees in the temperature in the north-western part.

Today,  rain may occur in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, scattered rain is also likely in Rajasthan, North Madhya Pradesh during the next 24 hours. IM  has issued an orange alert regarding rain in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, an alert has been issued regarding heavy rains in the northern hills.

Along with this, the IMD has predicted rain, lightning and strong winds at different places in Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha for the next two days. IMD has predicted heavy to moderate rains over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 5 days. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds in Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next 3 days.
