Hambantota District Parliamentarian Ajith Rajapakse for the post of Deputy Speaker while the Opposition Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has nominated Matale District Parliamentarian Rohini Kavirathna.
The vote to elect the Deputy Speaker will be held in Parliament on May 17.
