Travis Scott goes public months after the Astroworld Disaster, performs in Miami

New Delhi:

Travis Scott is back to business as he returned to stage on Saturday night for his first performance since the Astroworld disaster. The rapper was seen performing alongside Migos’ Quavo during the Miami Grand Prix weekend at E11Even Miami just two days after the six-month anniversary of the tragedy in Houston in which 10 people died while more than 100 was injured.  As per multiple Hollywood reports, The 31-year-old rapper dined at Miami restaurant Prime 112 ahead of the concert and arrived at E11EVEN at 3 am. He straight forwardly went on the concert and told the crowd at the sold-out stadium to lose their “motherf*****g minds.”

Before the show began, Scott was seen holding onto a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila while tossing a wad of cash as he told the crowd, “Everybody owes me a shot,” and “We need every stripper to report to the f——g stage right now. We need every bottle reported to this motherf——n floor,” he said.

Before his show in Miami, Scott had done several private shows maintaining a low profile as the internet was adamant on cancelling him post the Astroworld tragedy.

In April, after being kicked off the headliner’s list at Coachella 2022, the rapper performed at a private Bootsy Bellows Coachella 2022 afterparty. Additionally, he also showed his moves in front of guests at a private party in Bel-Air including people like Leonardo Di Caprio and Serena Williams.

For the unversed, in November 2021, 10 concertgoers lost their lives during Travis Scott’s Astroworld concert that took place in Houston, Texas, due to poor crowd management.
