Three brothers drown, two bodies found

The bodies of two of the three brothers of the same family in Jaffna who went missing while swimming in the Semmalai sea in Mullaitivu have been found in Nayaru area in Mullaitivu on Wednesday.

The Police fear that the third person also may have drowned and the search for him is still continuing.

The three brothers from the same family were among a group of 12 youths who had come to Mullaitivu from Alampil in Jaffna on a leisure trip. They were having a bath in the sea when strong currents swpt the three brothers away.

The bodies of Pathmanathan Vijith (26) and Pathmanathan Vilindran (23) have been found while Pathmanathan Klinran (29) the eldest of the three brothers is sill missing.
