2nd Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament:
The semi-final line-up of the 2nd Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament 2022, being held at the Ground of Club Ducy XI, Greater Noida West has been decided.
Eklavya Cricket Club and Noida Cricket Academy (NCA) have reached the semi-finals from Group A while Ambika B V Amsterdam Cricket Club and Eklavya Cricket Academy have qualified from Group B.
In the league stage of the 2nd Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament 2022, there was a clash between Eklavya Cricket Academy and VVIP Institute of Cricket on May 21. Eklavya Cricket Academy beat VVIP Institute of Cricket by 55 runs in a one-sided match.
Eklavya Cricket Academy won the toss and decided to bat first. The batsmen of Eklavya Cricket Academy performed brilliantly. Eklavya Cricket Academy piled up a huge total of 281 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 40 overs.
Chasing a difficult target of 382 runs, Adwan Sports XI was dismissed for just 226 runs in the 38th over. Abhishek Bharti of Eklavya Cricket Academy got the man of the match for scoring a brilliant century and Aman Bora of VVIP Institute of Cricket got the title of Fighter of the match for scoring a complete 55 runs.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Abhishek Bhati scored a brilliant 106 runs off 63 balls with the help of 16 fours and 4 sixes, while Anshul Bhati made 95 and Krishath Awana contributed 35 not out. On the other hand, Aman Chaudhary, Pushkar Chaudhary and Ashish of VVIP Institute of Cricket took one wicket each.
The batsmen of VVIP Institute of Cricket, who came down to chase the target of 282 runs, could not do much. Aman Bora scored 55 runs, Anubhav Bachchan Baghel scored 47 and Yash Panchal scored 24 runs from VVIP Institute of Cricket. On behalf of Eklavya Cricket Academy, Krishath Awana 3, Abhishek Bhati and Anushal Bhati took two wickets each.
The 2nd Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament Under 16 is being organized at the Ground of Club Ducy XI, Greater Noida West. This tournament is being organized under the supervision of cricket coach Dushyant Sharma.
A total of 10 teams from the Delhi-NCR region are participating in the second Vidhan Mishra Memorial Cricket Tournament 2022.
In this 40-over tournament, the ten teams are divided into two groups – Group A and Group B. League matches are being played during the first phase of the tournament, in which each team will get a chance to play four matches. After that the semi-finals and then the final match will be played.
