Share Market Today: Stock market open with a bang, enjoys jump after five days

Share Market Today:

After five consecutive days of decline amid positive global signals from the global market, the Indian stock market has a bullish trend on Friday, the fifth and last day from this trading week. Today trading has started with the rise in Sensex and Nifty. Sensex and Nifty opened on the green mark.

The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) opened 480 points or 0.91 per cent higher at 53,410, while the National Stock Exchange’s (NSE) Nifty jumped 164 points or 1.04 per cent to start trading at 15,972 levels.

Today, trading started in a total of 1,426 companies in the BSE, out of which about 923 shares opened with a rise and 428 with a fall. At the same time, the share price of 75 companies opened without increasing or decreasing.

Apart from this, today 20 shares are trading at 52 week high and 22 shares are trading at 52-week low. Whereas 49 shares have an upper circuit since morning and 107 shares have a lower circuit.

Among today’s top gainers, Tata Motors is trading at the top with a jump of 7.44 per cent and Apollo Hospitals is up 3.33 per cent. Sun Pharma is showing a rise of 3.23 percent. Adani Ports is trading with a strength of 2.73 percent and UPL 2.55 percent. In today’s falling shares of Nifty, only NTPC is visible with a fall of 0.81 percent.

On the last trading day on Thursday, the Bombay Stock Exchange’s (BSE) 30-share slipped 1158 points or 2.14 per cent to 52,930, while the National Stock Exchange’s (NSE) Nifty index was down 359 points and 2.22 per cent to 15,808.
