Russia-Ukraine War:
Senior officials within the United States (US) administration have claimed that several generals of the Russian army have been killed during the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
The New York Times on Wednesday cited senior US officials as saying that the United States (US) provided intelligence that helped the Ukrainian military kill several Russian generals during the war.
The newspaper said Washington provided Ukraine with details on Russia’s expected military activities and the location and other details about Russia’s mobile military headquarters, and that Ukraine jointly reported cannon strikes and other attacks that killed Russian officials.

According to the New York Times, Ukrainian officials said they had killed about 12 Russian generals on the battlefield. The paper said US officials declined to say how many generals were killed because of US intelligence.
Russian airstrike on Mariupol theater kills 600
At least 600 people were killed in a Russian bombing of a theater in the devastated Ukrainian city of Mariupol in March, the Associated Press reported.
Based on statements from witnesses to the attack, officials in the southern port city originally stated that 300 people were killed in the March 16 bombing.
A new investigation by the AP, based on accounts from nearly two dozen survivors, rescuers and people familiar with the theatre, has found evidence that the attack was actually more deadly than anticipated.
Using 3D model reconstructions of the building’s floor plan and feedback from experts, journalists found that the bombing attack killed nearly 600 people inside and outside the building.
Survivors in the incident are estimated at 1,000 people inside the theater at the time of the airstrike, but the most people seen fleeing, including rescue workers, numbered around 200.
