Pak Infiltrator killed during suspect BAT action along LOC in Kashmir, arms and narcotics recovered

A Pakistani terrorist killed during an infiltration cum BAT action bid earlier at LOC in Kupwara North Kashmir has been identified. Two AK rifles, large quantity of ammunition and several packets of heroine recovered from the gunfight area.

The operation against infiltrating terrorists was carried out by army at LOC near sultan post in Karna Tanghdar sector of Kupwara in North Kashmir.

Sources told News24, at around 10 o’clock in morning suspicious movement was noticed by army at the forward post, two persons were coming close to fence who were challanged. Exchange of fire took place during which one infiltrator was killed identified as Mohammad Muneer son of Bilal Ahmad of Jura Bandi Athmuqam PaK.

Officials said soon after the infiltrator was killed along LoC forces started massive search operation near ‘Darshan post’. During the search two 47 rifles with magazines, two pistols with magazines, one mobile and ten Kg’s of Herion were recovered.

Officials said the second terrorists has likely escaped back to the other side of LOC, the sanitisation operation is still underway in the area.
