One person was injured when police opened fire at a group of protesters who were trying to set the jeep of the Mulleriyawa OIC on fire at Angoda junction yesterday evening.
A tense situation has erupted yesterday when the Army started removing a vehicle which had been damaged by the angry mobs on Monday. Police had reached there when the Army informed them that this bus in question is on fire.
As the jeep reached there, a group of protesters began attacking the jeep.
