'No party for now,' Prashant Kishor announces 3,000 km 'Swaraj Yatra'

Patna:

Prashant Kishor, after rejecting the Congress party’s offer to join it, revealed his future strategy in Patna today. Kishor has made it clear that he is not forming any new party, but he has definitely talked about change in Bihar. Along with this, Prashant also explained in detail about his Swaraj Yatra.

While talking to the media, Kishor announced that on the next Gandhi Jayanti, October 2, he would undertake a 3,000 km foot march from the statue of West Champaran.

The political strategist-turned leader has made it clear that he is not going to announce any new party today. In the coming three to four months, Prashant Kishor will meet 18 thousand people from different sections of Bihar and try to understand them.

Talking to the media, Prashant Kishor said, “I am not forming any political party or platform. Bihar has been ruled by Lalu, Modi and Nitish Kumar for the last three decades. Nitish Kumar has been the Chief Minister of Bihar for the last one and a half decade. The supporters of Lalu Yadav believe that Lalu gave voice to the weak. The supporters of Nitish Kumar believe in Nitish Kumar’s economic development. There is some truth in both these things, but as much as there is truth in their claims, there is also truth in the fact that Bihar is the most backward and poorest state of the country in the last 30 years. No one can deny this truth.”

He said, “Bihar is at the lowest rank among all the states of the country today on most parameters of development. So if we look at the way for the next 10 years, it is certain that this path is not going up. I am neither going to form any political party nor have I created any political platform, but I want change in Bihar and people of Bihar who want change will join me. In the coming three to four months, I will meet most of the people of Bihar and try to take Chand Suraj’s thinking on the ground.”

In the past, Prashant Kishor has prepared a strategy for big parties like BJP, Congress as well as regional parties like JDU, AITC.
