Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the Toyota Fortuner Gazoo Racing (GR) Sport variant of its powerful SUV Fortuner in India, which is the most expensive model in the Fortuner lineup. The Sport Edition of the Fortuner was showcased in Bangkok last March and the SUV was already available for sale in the Indonesian market. Now Toyota has expanded its lineup keeping in mind the popularity of the Fortuner in India, which is quite powerful to look at.

Racing Sport Edition is offered in a glossy red shade as well as a black and white color scheme. The Fortuner GR Sport comes with improved features along with some cosmetic and mechanical changes as compared to the regular model. As of now, it gets sporty bumpers, newly styled foglamps, 20-inch alloy wheels with gun-metal finish and red colored clips along with GR badging on the air dam and boot lid.
Power and Features
Talking about the engine and power of the new Toyota Fortuner GR Sport, it is powered by a 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel engine, which generates up to 204 PS of power and 500 Nm of torque. Equipped with a 4 wheel drive system, this SUV is mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. On the other hand, talking about the interior and features, it has excellent interior as well as dashboard, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, smartphone connectivity, JBL audio system, dual zone climate control, connected car technology, stability control, traction control and many including 7 airbags.
