After intriguing fans with unique promotional activities across social media, the makers of the Jug Jugg Jeeyo finally dropped the launched today, May 22, in Mumbai. Neetu Kapoor, who plays a pivotal role in the film, was also present at the event, along with Karan Johar, Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan. During the trailer launch, the actress got emotional when Karan Johar brought late actor Rishi Kapoor’s name Neetu said that Rishi would be so happy watching this film.
Neetu started off by thanking Karan Johar as she said, “I cannot be more thankful to anyone but you because you are the one who pushed me. You told me that I have to work. That has been the best decision for me.” Karan replied, “You are carrying such an abundant legacy. Rishi Kapoor’s soul would be so proud of you, everything you are doing. We are blessed just to have known him, worked with him and have him.”
Neetu got emotional remembering her husband and said, “I am sure he’s going to be very happy seeing this beautiful film that Raj has made. This movie will always remain so special to me. This is like I am coming back in a Hindi film.”
Talking about Jugg Jugg Jeeyo, the film is a family entertainer where a father-son duo is on a verge of divorce. What happens remains to be seen but the trailer looks intriguing. Jugg Jugg Jeeyo is scheduled to hit theatres on June 24, 2022.
