Mundka fire: Father of arrested factory owners also dies in mishap

The father of two factory owners, arrested in connection with the fire in a commercial building in Mundka, also died in the fire. Amarnath Goyal was present at a function at the factory when he burst into flames and was burnt to death.

Police registered an FIR in the Mundka fire incident

The police have registered an FIR under IPC sections 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 308 (attempt to culpable homicide), 120 (criminal conspiracy) and 34 (acts done by several persons with common intention). Along with this, two people Varun Goyal and Satish Goyal have been arrested.

After the Mundka accident, a search operation is going on in the building. Along with this, the building did not get NOC from the fire department. According to Delhi Police, 60 to 70 people were safely evacuated from the building. At the time of the accident, a conference was going on in an office running in the building, in which a large number of people came from outside to attend.

Delhi CM to visit Mundka fire site today

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will visit the Mundka fire incident site on Saturday morning. So far 27 bodies have been recovered from the spot, while 19 are reported to be missing.

A massive fire broke out in a commercial building built in Mundka area, due to which 27 people died, while more than 20 people were injured. The injured people are being treated at Delhi’s Sanjay Gandhi Hospital.

Many people are still reported missing after the Mundka accident in Delhi. About 19 families who reached Sanjay Gandhi Hospital claim that their own are missing, which is not being traced. People are making rounds of hospitals in search of their loved ones. The father of the factory owner Varun Goyal is also among the missing.
