LPG Price Hike: Inflation hits common man again, big jump in domestic LPG cylinder rates

Inflation has dealt yet another blow to the people of the country. Today, the price of domestic LPG cylinders has been increased by Rs 3.50. The price of domestic LPG cylinders has crossed Rs 1000 across the country.

From today, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder weighing 14.2 kg has gone up to Rs 1003 in Delhi and Mumbai. The price of LPG cylinders has gone up to Rs 1029 in Kolkata and Rs 1018.5 in Chennai.

Commercial LPG cylinder costlier by Rs.8

With an increase of Rs 8 per cylinder, a 19 kg commercial cylinder will be available in the national capital for Rs 2354. For Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, the new rates are Rs 2454, Rs 2306 and Rs 2507 respectively.

Earlier, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders were reduced by Rs 10 per cylinder on May 7.

Also, the price of domestic LPG was increased by Rs 50 per cylinder on May 8. This was the second increase in two months. This was followed by an increase of Rs 102.50 earlier this month.
