The distribution of household LP Gas will commence from tomorrow, Litro Gas Chairman Vijitha Herath said.
He said that Litro Gas is expecting to start distribution of domestic LP Gas cylinders from tomorrow morning onwards.
A shipment of 3,500 metric tonnes of LP Gas has arrived in the country and that gas stocks were being unloaded yesterday.
Another shipment of LP Gas consignment is scheduled to arrive in the country in a few days.
Herath said a payment of USD 6.5 million had been made for two shipments of LP Gas with a total quantity of 7,500 metric tonnes.
Accordingly, the first shipment of 3,500 MT of gas of the two shipments reached Colombo yesterday and the distribution of the gas for household consumption will commence from tomorrow.
