The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has re-imposed the limitations on issuing fuel for vehicles through filling stations with effect from yesterday.
Accordingly, the filling stations have been permitted to issue fuel only up to Rs.2, 000 for motorcycles at a time, up to Rs.3, 000 for three-wheelers and up to Rs.8, 000 for cars, vans and jeeps.
However, the CPC has not imposed restrictions for issuing fuel for buses, lorries and other vehicles used for commercial purposes.
