Laal Singh Chaddha Trailer:
The much-anticipated trailer of Laal Singh Chaddha was unveiled today by Aamir Khan at the IPL 2022 Final being played between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi stadium. Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump, which starred Tom Hanks in the leading role. After multiple delays in the wake of the Covid-19 induced lockdown, the film is finally slated to hit theatres on August 11.
The two-minute-forty-five-second-long trailer starts with Laal Singh Chaddha (Aamir Khan) sitting on a train sporting a turban and beard. In the next scene, we are sent back to his childhood days where we can see Laal is specially-abled, and hence, the stares and glares from people are a part of his everyday life. Little Laal finds a friend in Rupa (Kareena Kapoor Khan) who, in comparison to others, is kinder towards him. We then have Laal’s teacher telling his mother (Mona Singh) that he is a student par average who will hardly do much in life. Cut to Laal’s youth, he is no less than an extraordinary man who runs faster than a bullet. He serves in military, saves life and does everything heroic. You name a thing. While Kareena Kapoor Khan has charming presence in the trailer, Naga Chaitanya, who will be making his debut with the film, can be spotted in blink-and-miss appearance.
