Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s name has surfaced in the shooting of Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala. Punjab Police Director General of Police VK Bhavra has directly named Lawrence Bishnoi in the Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala murder case during a press conference. 

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang is behind the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala along with Canadia-based gangster Lucky aka Goldie Brar, who has claimed responsibility for the killing of the Congress leader. It is being said that this is a case of clash between two gangs. 

In 2018, Lawrence Bishnoi had become the focus of national headlines when he threatened to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

Why does Lawrence want to kill Salman Khan?

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi wanted to kill Bollywood star Salman Khan. The real reason behind this is that Salman Khan was accused of hunting blackbucks in Rajasthan. Blackbucks along with several other animals are considered holy by certain local tribes in Rajasthan.

After this, once during the shooting of Salman Khan and Asin starrer ‘Ready’, Lawrence had planned a complete attack on Salman Khan through his henchmen. 

Lawrence Bishnoi emerged from student politics

While studying at the Panjab University in Chandigarh, Lawrence Bishnoi became a big name in student politics, but he lost the student union election. 

After this, gradually Lawrence Bishnoi became a well-known gangster. According to reports, there is a well known gang war in Punjab between the Davinder Bambiha group and the Lawrence Bishnoi group. Although Davinder Bambiha was killed in an encounter with the Punjab Police in 2016, his group is still active.

Lawrence Bishnoi runs his gang from jail

Renowned gangster Goldie Brar is currently in Canada, while his close accomplice and gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi is lodged in Ajmer jail in Rajasthan. Lawrence Bishnoi’s network can be gauged from the fact that he is running the gang even when he is in jail. He issues orders through his accomplices and then commits criminal offences.

Early life

Born on February 22, 1992 in Fazilka, Punjab, Lawrence Bishnoi has more than 50 criminal cases registered against him. The financial condition of his family is very strong. Lawrence Bishnoi’s father was a policeman himself, but could not stop his son from becoming a gangster.
