Srinagar:
A government employee with revenue department was shot at by the terrorists at Tehsildar office in Chadoora area of Bidgam Central Kashmir.
Official sources told News24 that an employee at Tehsil office identified as Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhatt was fired upon by the terrorists in the office premises, when he was performing his duties.
The employee, who has sustained grievous injuries has been rushed to Srinagar hospital for treatment, officials told News24.
Jammu and Kashmir police while confirming the attacked tweeted “Terrorists fired upon one employee namely Shri Rahul Bhat from #minority community in Tehsildar office Chadoora, #Budgam. He has been shifted to hospital.”
Meanwhile, soon after the terrorist attack forces have cordoned off the nearb area and launched search operation to nab the attackers.
