Kashmir: TV debater Waqar Bhatti arrested for objectionable tweets about Gyanvapi Shivling

Kashmiri TV debater Waqar Bhatti, who posted controversial statements on Twitter after the Shivling was found in Gyanvapi Masjid, has been arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. 

Bhatti was arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police from his home in the Tangmarg area of Baramulla. The the Jammu and Kashmir Police has started investigation after registering a case against Waqar Bhatti for hurting religious sentiments.

Waqar Bhatti often tries to stay in the limelight by making anti-national and anti-military statements during TV debates. 

Bhatti had posted a controversial tweet after the Shivling was found in the Gyanvapi Mosque. Many people had condemned his tweet.

BJP leader Baba Chanchal Singh had lodged a complaint against Waqar Bhatti for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus at Gharota police station in Jammu district and acting on the complaint, the police registered a case. 

On the other hand, in view of this growing controversy, Jammu A team of police arrested Waqar Bhatti after raiding the Tangmarg area of Baramulla.

Regarding this matter, Baba Chanchal Singh says that Bhatti should also be booked for carrying out anti-national activities. He often gives anti-national and anti-army statements. He supports terrorists and this is the reason why the terrorist also speaks to Yasin Malik.

Waqar Bhatti, who describes himself as a human rights activist, keeps quiet about the killing of innocent people in Kashmir and leaves no opportunity to support the terrorists. At the same time, seeing himself trapped, Bhatti also tried to prove himself innocent by tweeting. He said that he has not hurt anyone’s religious sentiments and he is being targeted.
