Police sources said that these terrorists had infiltrated into Indian territory from Jumagund village adjacent to the Line of Control at night. When some people of the village saw suspicious activity outside the village, they informed the police. The police also without wasting time started searching for the terrorists along with the army personnel. At one place, a face-off between terrorists and security forces started. Firing started from both the sides. The security forces asked the terrorists to lay down their arms but they continued the firing.
