IPL2022 Title holder Pandya "wants to win the World Cup, No matter what happens"

New Delhi:

Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, after leading Gujarat Titans to title win of the Indian Premier League 2022, expressed that he “wants to win World Cup, no matter what happens.”

The credit of building a new team from scratch and taking it to win their maiden title in their maiden season of the tournament goes to Pandya who made a spectacular comeback from his injury.

“Absolutely to win the World Cup for India no matter what happens,” Hardik said. “I am gonna give it everything I have. Always been that kind of guy to put the team first. For me the goal will be simple: to make sure my team gets it the most.

The teams around the world are prepping for T20 World Cup that is set to played in Australia in October and the fantastic of Pandya can power Team India to make up for a horrendous season in 2021.

Talking about how special Gujarat Titans win is for Pandya, hje said “Obviously this will be a little special because I have won it as a captain,” though he diplomatically added “the four that I have won before this are equally special too.

“Winning IPL is always special. I consider myself very lucky that I have played five finals, and have lifted the trophy five times. Obviously this will leave a legacy because we are a new franchise, playing for the first time, and we are champions in the first season. But the four that I have won before this were equally special.”
