IPL 2022: Buttler can achieve THIS milestone in RR vs GT, Qualifier 1

Kolkata:

Rajasthan Royals opener Jos Buttler is on the brink of achieving a huge milestone ahead of the Qualifier 1 clash against Gujarat Titans.

If the “run-machine” manages to get 36 runs in the upcoming game, then he will be joining the elite list of batters with 8000 runs in T20 cricket. The Englishman has 7964 runs in 312 T20 matches, and if gods of weather allow, a new record will be written in the books of history under the name of Jos Buttler.

Men in Pink are set to take on table-toppers Gujarat Titans, in the first qualifier of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2022. The winner of the game will directly book the berth in the finals of the tournament, whereas the loser of tonight’s game will get another chance to try their luck on the coveted trophy.

Buttler has smashed three centuries and three half-centuries this season for RR, and he can play a significant role in the remaining games of the tournament.

RR has ended league fixture in the top two first after 2008 – a season when they were crowned as the champions of the tournament. The challenge ahead of the Sanju Samson and boys is not easy as they face Hardik Panda’s GT – a team which has been consistent with their excellent performance throughout the season.
