The Government must listen to the voice of the people and should not delay in taking any further action, Senior Vice President of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Professor Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa said.
The Government should allow for the formation of an Interim Government. The Prime Minister should leave the Government. “The Leader of the Opposition and his entourage will be assigned to the dustbin of history,” Prof. Piyadasa said.
He was speaking at a media briefing held in Anuradhapura on April 30. “The people of this country have shed enough blood throughout history and there is no more blood to shed. Therefore, this arrogant Government should listen to the voice of the people,” he said.
