Indian women’s hockey team has risen to sixth spot in the latest FIH Ranking whereas the male counterpart dropped a rung to 4th position.
Australia continued to top the men’s points table with 2842.258 followed by Belgium (2764.735) and Netherlands (2465.707) on second and thirds position respectively. India now stands at fourth with 2366.990 points.
In the women’s points table, Netherlands continued to be the table toppers with 3049.495 points followed by Argentina (2674.837) and Australia (2440.750).
England (2204.590) has booked fourth spot and Germany (2201.085) stands at fifth followed by Indian women (2029.396).
