Earthquake: Tremors felt from Kashmir to Tajikistan, magnitude 5.3 on Richter scale

Earthquake:

Earthquake tremors were felt from Jammu and Kashmir to Tajikistan at 5:35 am today. The magnitude of the earthquake was 5.3 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake is being reported in Tajikistan. The epicenter of the earthquake was in Tajikistan at a depth of 170 km.

There is no news of any loss of life or property as of now. Many people came out of their homes as soon as they felt the tremors, while many people were sleeping at that time.

Earlier, on April 24, earthquake tremors were felt in Kargil in the Union Territory of Ladakh. According to the National Center for Seismology, the magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 4.2 on the Richter scale.

On April 19, an

measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale had struck Indonesia. 

According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the epicenter of the quake was 779 km from Sulawesi. Earlier, a 6.7 magnitude earthquake struck Taiwan’s capital Taipei.
