Drake mourns the Sidhu Moose Wala, pays tribute to the Punjabi rapper with a moving pic

Sidhu Moose Wala’s demise has sent shockwaves across the country and the world. The singer-politician was shot dead in Jawaharke village of Mansa district. His death is being mourned by everyone. Many celebrities took to their social media handle to mourn his loss and the recent name to get added to this list is International rapper Drake.

Drake took to his Instagram stories and shared a picture of the Punjabi singer and rapper Sidhu Moose Wala along with his mom. Sharing this beautiful picture, Drake wrote, “RIP Moose,” while tagging the singer’s official handle.

The Bollywood Brigade also took to pay last respect to the singer. Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram handle to share a picture of Sidhu Moose Wala wherein he is striking his iconic pose. Sharing this picture, Ranveer captioned it as “Dil da ni mada…” with a heartbroken emoji. Even Vicky Kaushal had taken to his Instagram stories and wrote the same line from Sidhu Moose Wala’s song and wrote ‘Dil da ni mada’.

Comedian Kapil Sharma took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Satnam shri waheguru  very shocking n very sad, a great artist n a wonderful human being, may god give the strengths to his family #sidhumoosewala.”

Sidhu Moose Wala, 28, was shot dead on Sunday, a day after Punjab withdrew the security of 424 people, including the singer.  The security cover was withdrawn as a part of Bhagwant Mann government’s exercise to crack down on VIP culture. The attack took place when Moose Wala and two of his friends were driving in a jeep to the village Jawahar Ke in Punjab.

Moosewala was shot multiple times and was found slumped on his seat and bleeding heavily. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Punjab police said that the attack seemed to be due to a gang-war. Police also said that a Canada-based gangster has claimed responsibility for the attack.

“Lawrence Bishnoi gang is involved in this murder. Lucky, member of the gang has taken responsibility from Canada,” Punjab DGP VK Bhawra told the media. He said the name of Moose Wala’s manager Shaganpreet had figured in the murder of one Vicky Middukhera last year.
