Deepika Padukone becomes first Indian face of Louis Vuitton, Ranveer Singh says 'serious flex'

The sky is the limit for Deepika Padukone. The gorgeous continues to strengthen her position in the global map with her one achievement after the another. In the recent, the actor has brought laurels as she has become the first Indian to endorse French luxury brand Louis Vuitton. “Following a strong collaborative relationship with Maison… the award-winning actress begins an exciting new chapter of her journey with Louis Vuitton,” the fashion house said in a press release.

Deepika has starred in Louis Vuitton’s Dauphine bag campaign. The campaign also features Emma Stone, an Oscar winner and longtime House Ambassador, and Zhou Dongyu, a fellow Ambassador and pillar of contemporary Chinese cinema. Deepika took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture announcing her collaboration with the label.  

Besides being regularly spotted sporting Louis Vuitton outfits and bags, the 36-year-old actress has previously modeled for the brand.

Deepika’s achievement was lauded by her husband and actor Ranveer Singh who never leaves an opportunity to uplift his wife. Sharing the advertisement featuring Deepika, Ranveer wrote on his Instagram Stories, “Serious flex, baby @deepikapadukone.” Ranveer also reacted to a news article about Deepika and shared it with the caption, “Baby,” on his Instagram Stories.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is all set to represent India at the 75th Cannes Film Festival as a jury member. The actress is a part of an eight-member jury at the 75th edition of the prestigious film festival which reviews and rewards films. Deepika is now resuming her duties there as she was spotted leaving Mumbai on Monday.

On the work front, Deepika has official Hindi remake of The Intern in her pipeline.
