have appealed to the people to take precautions, so that the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic can be stopped. The national capital Delhi is witnessing a jump in new Covid-19 cases every day.

Over the last 24 hours, 1520 coronavirus cases were reported in Delhi, while one person has lost his life. The infection rate has also reached above five percent in the capital. Testing has also been increased by the Delhi government, the tests which were running between 10 thousand to 15 thousand earlier, the figure has crossed 30 thousand as the cases increase.

In the last 24 hours, 29,775 corona tests have been done in Delhi. It is being said that more work can be done in this direction in the coming days, but for now the increasing cases in Delhi are making people apprehensive about another wave. Experts are definitely avoiding calling it a new wave, but concerns are also being expressed from their side as the cases increase.

1367 cases were reported on April 27, 1204 on April 26, 1011 on April 25, 1083 on April 24, 1094 on April 23 and 1042 on April 22. A steady jump is being recorded in the daily number of coronavirus cases. The state government argues that the number of patients in the hospital has not increased, so there is no need to panic.

Covid-19 increasing in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra

Apart from this, 49 new cases of Covid-19 infection were reported in Tamil Nadu in the last 24 hours and 43 patients were cured. There are 513 active coronavirus cases in the state. With this, not a single death has been reported in the state in the last 24 hours. In Karnataka, 126 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the last 24 hours and 76 patients were cured. 2 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases in Karnataka is 1,785, while the positivity rate has been recorded at 1.26.

Over the last 24 hours, 155 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Maharashtra and one patient died. In the last 24 hours, 12 new patients of Kovid-19 were found in Odisha and 83 in Mizoram. The Health Department of Maharashtra said that the cases of infection in the state have increased to 78,77,732. The death toll has risen to 1,47,843.
