Coronavirus Pandemic Update:
There has been a slight decrease in the daily number of coronavirus cases as compared to yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 2487 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the country while 13 people have died.
Meanwhile, active Covid-19 cases have come down by 404 to 17,692. Earlier on Saturday, 2858 cases of coronavirus were registered, while 11 people died.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry this morning, 2487 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours and 13 people have died. At present, the weekly positivity rate in the country is 0.66 percent and the daily positivity rate is 0.59 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of people who have recovered from the infection has increased to 4,25,76,815. The new Covid-19 cases are 12 percent less than the 2,858 cases reported a day earlier. This shows that the cases are decreasing. Along with this, it has also been informed that 13 people have died due to infection during this period. According to the Ministry of Health, 24,317 tests for coronavirus have been done yesterday.
In Delhi, 673 new Covid-19 cases were reported on Saturday and 4 patients have died. According to the data released by the Health Department, the positivity rate is 2.77 percent. Earlier on March 18, 607 cases were found and one death occurred. The positivity rate on that day was 0.76 percent. But at this time the cases are increasing. The total number of coronavirus cases in Delhi is 18,99,745, while the total number of deaths is 26,192.
