Wheat will not be available in three states
The Modi government has reduced the wheat quota that will be allotted under the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana from May to September. Wheat will no longer be available for free distribution in UP, Bihar, or Kerala as a result of this change. Wheat quotas have also been reduced in Delhi, Gujarat, Jharkhand, MP, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal. Cardholders in these states will receive less wheat and more rice. Reason for lower wheat purchases
