At least 12 killed in Russian shelling of Severodonetsk: Governor

New Delhi: 

The eastern Ukraine city of Severodonetsk witnessed shelling from the Russian side. The impact of the shelling resulted in death of 12 people and left around 40 hurt. The region’s governor shed light on the issue in a statement rolled out by him. The Russian defence forces are still trying to push them into the Donbas region.

Another, statement was released by the governor of Lugansk, Sergiy Gaiday via social media, “

2 dead and more than 40 injured in Severodonetsk,” and accused the Russian defence 

forces of “randomly” shelling the region.

Gaiday, said that these attacks began early in the day and were continuing till late evening.
