At least 10 killed in mass shooting at New York supermarket, suspect arrested

New York Shooting:

There has been a bloody shooting incident in New York, USA. So far 10 people have died in this firing. Several people have also been arrested. 

The shooting took place at a supermarket in Buffalo. It is being said that a person came to the supermarket with a rifle and started firing as soon as he came out of his car. According to reports, the New York Police has arrested a suspect.

The incident occurred on Saturday, when officers received information about a shooting at a store at 1275 Jefferson Avenue. When they reached there they saw several victims lying on the ground outside the supermarket and others inside the shop.

An FBI team is questioning the suspect. Investigators suspect that the gunman live-streamed the entire incident through a camera mounted on his helmet. In the videos that have surfaced, he is seen holding a rifle in the front seat of the car in the parking lot. As soon as he got out of the car, he started firing. The footage also shows the suspects entering the supermarket and shooting several people inside.

Among those killed inside the store was a retired police officer who was working as an armed security guard. The Commissioner of Police said that when the police reached the spot, the shooter put the gun on his neck, but was talked about and eventually surrendered.

Stephen Belongia, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Buffalo field office, said the shooting is being investigated as a hate crime. He said that we are investigating this incident as a case of hate crime.
