Kim Taehyung of BTS is one of the most popular K-pop idols in South Korea and across the world. He often garners limelight for his alluring looks and intense voice. However, this time, Kim Taehyung, also known as V, is in news for different reasons. The K-pop idol, who goes by his stage name V, is now attracting dating rumours. A picture of V is doing rounds on social media wherein he is seen sitting alongside Blackpink’s Jennie. Netizens are claiming that V and Jennie are in a relationship and the viral picture is from their date. The person who shared the picture, later deleted it and shared some video clips of two people who resembled Jennie and Taehyung. However, by then, the rumours of two dating have already caught fire on the internet.
Later, a section of netizens came to defend Jennie and Taehyung. Some pointed out that the pic was edited from In The Soop 2 where Taehyung had same hairdo and tee. Others said Blackpink’s Jennie did not resemble the girl. In fact, the side profile of the two in the pic does not match that of Taehyung or Jennie.
YG Entertainment and Hybe have refused to address the matter. When reached out for a response by news outlets, Jennie’s agency YG Entertainment briefly commented, “We have nothing to say [regarding this matter],” and added, “We will inform you if we have a different response to share.”
The scandal comes at a time when Hybe is indulged in a controversy related to Le Sserafim’s Kim Ga-ram. For the unversed, Kim Ga-ram has been accused of bullying. She reportedly bullied a classmate in middle school. Now, as per the latest development, Kim Ga-ram has announced a brief hiatus and

will be performing as five-member group.
Meanwhile, BTS is set to comeback with a new album titled ‘Proof’ on June 10. The group had earlier released track list of the album. Blackpink, on the other hand, is expected to make a comeback this year. The group is yet to announce a date.
