Veteran singer-composer AR Rahman’s eldest daughter and musician Khatija Rahman on Thursday, May 5 got married to Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed.
He took the news to his social media handle and dropped a picture from his daughter’s wedding. “May the Almighty bless the couple .. thanking you in advance for your good wishes and love @khatija.rahman @riyasdeenriyan,” AR Rahman wrote in the caption.
Meanwhile, Khatija also shared her first photo with Riyasdeen Riyan after the marriage. She wrote, “The most awaited day in my life. Married to my man @riyasdeenriyan.” In the photos, Riyasdeen was wearing a white sherwani, while Khatija was seen dressed in off-white attire.
Khatija is also a musician. She has lent her voice for a few songs in Tamil films, while Riyasdeen is an audio engineer. The two got engaged last year on December 29.
