Vasanthi Shriya Kumari, an active member of the Samagi Jana Balawega (SJB) and a social activist in the Colombo North electorate has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the SJB’s Women’s Wing (Samagi Vanitha Balawega).
The letter of appointment was handed over to Vasanthi by SJB Leader and Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa at the Opposition Leader’s office, recently.
Samagi Vanitha Balawega National Organizer Hirunika Premachandra and many other members of the party were present.
Opposition Leader Premadasa stated that the purpose and responsibility of the members of the Executive Committee is to work towards the formation of a government of unity.
Vasanthi Shriya Kumari started her political career in the Kaduwela electorate and is currently a leading member of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya in the Colombo North electorate.
