Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her first red carpet appearance of the season at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday. After the event, she attended an afterparty with her family. For the occasion, she was donned in a black gown for her red carpet look and changed to a shimmery pink dress for the L’Oréal X Cannes anniversary dinner. Her husband Abhishek Bachchan and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan accompanied her to the bash.
Aishwarya made heads turn in a shimmery pink ankle-length dress which she paired with a matching silk shrug. Aaradhya joined her in a red dress with matching hairband and bellies, while Abhishek was in a black suit. In the pictures that are going viral on the internet, the family of three is seen posing for the shutterbugs.
On Wednesday, Aishwarya marked her presence at the 75th Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet dressed in a dreamy black-floral gown. The ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ actor smiled and posed for the photographers at the event as she made her appearance in a black Valentino gown that had a dreamy floral touch to it.
The 48-year-old star opted for defined brows, smokey eyes and pink lipstick. Her look had minimal accessories including cascading earrings and statement rings.
Earlier, Aishwarya’s first look at the festival had been unveiled and it was a head-to-toe pink attire.
Aishwarya has been a regular attendee at the Cannes Film Festival for years now. Her husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya are also currently at the French Riviera. (
