Will Smith has been at the center of spotlight ever since his Oscars 2022 controversy. Amid this, the actor was spotted in Mumbai on Saturday. The ‘King Richard’ actor was clicked at Kalina airport where he was seen greeting some people a big warm smile. He was accompanied by a spiritual person. It has been speculated that the actor is on a spiritual journey post Chris Rock altercation.
This marks Will Smith’s first public appearance since the Oscars slap controversy. He was also seen waving and greeting paparazzi from a distance. He also obliged to fans’ request for pictures.

According to paparazzo account Viral Bhayani, Will was staying at the JW Marriott Hotel in Juhu and left Mumbai on Saturday. This is not the first time the 53-year-old actor has visited India. He has had a long spiritual relationship with India. While there is no official confirmation on why Will Smith is in Mumbai, sources speculate that he has come to visit Sadhguru and plans to spend some time with him. The ‘Pursuit of Happyness’ actor shares a close bond with Sadhguru and has also shot a video of their meeting.
For the unversed, Will Smith had apologised to comedian Chris Rock for hitting him during the Oscar ceremony for joking about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
“I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness,” Smith wrote on Instagram.
“Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behaviour at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally,” Smith said in his apology.
