Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Chairman Engineer Vijitha Herath has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Litro Gas Lanka Limited.
He served as the Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board from 2019 to 2021.
Eng. Herath also serves as the Chairman of Sri Lanka Podujana Engineers’ Front.
Meanwhile, it was reported yesterday that Litro Gas Lanka has suspended the distribution of domestic LP Gas until April 25, due to the unavailability of stocks.
It was also reported that 1,300 metric tons of LP Gas available with the company at present will only be distributed to hotels, military bases, crematoriums and hospitals.
