Video: Boris Johnson, Zelensky seen walking on Kyiv streets, open challenge for Russia

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has reached Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, amid the Russia-Ukraine war. This visit of Boris Johnson was not predetermined, he has suddenly reached Kyiv. Ukraine’s President Zelensky and Boris Johnson were both seen roaming the streets of Kyiv. 

In a more than two-minute-long video shared by the Ukrainian government, the two leaders can be seen roaming the streets amid snipers and other security measures.

The two leaders greet several passersby as they walk from Kyiv’s main Kreshchatyk street to Maidan Square. One of the passers-by, looking emotional at the British leader in the Ukrainian capital, said, “We need you.”

To this, Johnson replied: “Nice to meet you. We are privileged to have helped. You have a remarkable President, Mr. Zelensky.”

This is the first visit by a G7 leader to Ukraine since Russia launched an offensive on 24 February. The British prime minister promised 120 armored vehicles and new anti-ship missile systems, part of another 100 million pounds ($130 million) of the high-end military. Device.
