Uttar Pradesh: 6 killed, 4 injured as truck, Bolero collide in Amethi

Amethi (Uttar Pradesh):

A horrific road accident has occurred in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. In the collision of a speeding truck and Bolero here, 6 people have died, while four people have been injured. The injured have been admitted to Trauma Center Lucknow for treatment, where the condition of some people is said to be critical. The dead included a father and son duo who were traveling in the Bolero.

According to the information, Bolero, coming back from the procession at around 12.15 pm on Sunday night, collided with a truck in Nasirabad area of Rae Bareli district. Due to the head-on collision, the accident proved to be quite horrific.

The collision can be gauged from the fact that the Bolero got blown up after the accident. Hearing the sound of the collision, the nearby people reached the spot, and started evacuating the people trapped in the Bolero. The information about the accident was given to the police, after which the police reached the spot and started the work of sending the injured to the hospital. It is believed that the accident happened due to speeding.

The deceased include 40-year-old Kallu of Gudre village in Amethi, eight-year-old son Saurabh of Kallu, 30-year-old Krishan Kumar Singh of Shahgarh, Nevdhia, resident of Shiv Milan, Ravi Tiwari of Veerrampur Shahgarh and Pachehari village, Gauriganj Triveni Prasad.

Among the four injured are Mukesh (13), Anuj (8), a resident of Pachehri, Anil resident of Ganesi village (26) and 22-year-old Lavkush, a resident of Munshiganj. All 10 people including the driver were in the Bolero. The procession went to Nawagji before the Kasinpur Halt railway crossing on the road of Jais.
