UP to reconduct Class 12 English exam in 24 tomorrow

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will conduct Class 12 exam for English subject tomorrow (April 13) in 24 districts. The examination is being reconducted as it was cancelled on March 30. 

As per media reports, the UP Police have claimed that the case has been solved with the arrest of the mastermind of the scam Nirbhay Narayan Singh who is a manager of Maharani Devi Smarak Inter College. Singh had allegedly leaked the paper and have it solved with the help of two English teachers.

Singh had later accepted the claims and informed that each paper were sold for Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 per student. 

Singh was accompanied by accused Rajeev Prajapati in the crime. They also distributed scanned copies of question paper on social media. The police has arrested both the accused. 

The state police have confiscated solved copies. 

However, the exams will be conducted in Ballia, Etah, Baghpat, Badaun, Sitapur, Kanpur Dehat, Lalitpur, Chitrakoot, Pratapgarh, Gonda, Azamgarh, Agra, Varanasi, Mainpuri, Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Shamli, Shahjahanpur, Unnao, Jalaun, Mahoba, Ambedkar Nagar, and Gorakhpur.
