The first solar eclipse of the year 2022 is going to happen tomorrow i.e. on Saturday. This eclipse will take place between April 30 and May 1. This eclipse will start at 12:15 midnight and will last till 4:8 am in the morning. This eclipse is taking place on the new moon day and this day is also Saturday. Amavasya falling on Saturday is called Shanichari Amavasya.

This will be a partial solar eclipse. This eclipse will not be visible in India nor will it be considered as Sutak period. According to religious belief, where the eclipse is not visible, its effect does not fall there. This eclipse will not be visible in any region of India. Therefore, this eclipse will not have religious significance.

This eclipse will be visible in the southwestern part of South America, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic and South Pole.

On this day bathing, charity and worship of ancestors are done. Even before the solar eclipse, it will be auspicious to donate the ancestors’ Shradh and bath. According to Jyotishacharya, the eclipse will start on the night of April 30 from 12, so it will be auspicious to perform Shradh and Tarpan of ancestors before that.

According to the Hindu calendar, a solar eclipse will take place in Taurus on April 30, 2022. The second solar eclipse of the year will take place on October 25, 2022.

A solar eclipse is an astronomical event. In a solar eclipse, the moon completely covers the sun, due to which the sun’s rays do not reach the earth. This is called solar eclipse. At the same time, when the Moon partially covers the Sun, it is called a partial solar eclipse, but when the Moon covers the Sun from the central part, it is called an annular solar eclipse. Solar eclipse is not considered auspicious in astrology.
