New Delhi:

Cash, jewellery worth INR 14.1 million has reportedly been stolen from Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor and husband Anand Ahuja’s New Delhi residence.

It happened on February but reports began circulating in the media on Saturday. Kapoor and Ahuja are currently in Mumbai, but their staff of 25 employees including nine caretakers, drivers, gardeners and other workers are being questioned in the investigation.

As per Pinkvilla, along with the police, the Forensic Science Laboratories are also involved in the case to collect any form of evidence at the crime scene.

Sonam Kapoor’s father-in-law Harish Ahuja and mother-in-law Priya Ahuja live in the Delhi residence located in Amrita Shergill Marg with Anand’s grandmother Sarla Ahuja.

After the complaint was lodged the police began investigating the case at the actor’s house. CCTV footage from the past year is also being reviewed to identify the culprits.

Also, last month a report claimed that Kapoor’s father-in-law Harish’s law firm had been duped of INR 270 million and 10 people were arrested in that case.
