Royal Challengers Bangalore hosted a wedding bash for Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and his wife Vini Ramani at Taj Lands End, Mumbai on Wednesday evening. The entire RCB fam was in attendance at the party.
Star couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli marked their presence at the party. Virat was donned in a navy blue kurta with embroidery and white churidar, while Anuskha was seen in a pink Punjabi suit with embellishments on the dupatta and the palazzo.
The actress shared the photo from the party with hubby Virat and captioned it with, “Wedding function in a bubble! Now I think I’ve seen and celebrated possibly every function and festival in a bubble! #BubbleLife.”
The couple was looking beautiful and glowy together.
A new side of Virat Kohli was seen at the party as the cricketer moved his legs in the popular track, ‘Oo Antava’ from the blockbuster movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. His dance video set a fire on social media.
‘Pushpa’ music director Devi Sri Prasad also responded to Virat’s performance. He told IANS, “It’s a brilliant feeling for any musician to watch the greats of the country enjoy their music. It made me happy to watch Virat grooving to ‘Oo Antava'”.
Current RCB captain Faf du Plessis also attended the party with his wife Imari Visser and two beautiful daughters Zoey and Amelia. The captain was seen in a pink kurta, and white churidar and his wife overwhelmed in a bottle green saree with gold zari. Their daughters wore matching pink frocks.
Sharing the photos from the evening, captain Faf du Plessis took to his Instagram and captioned them with coloured hearts. His wife Imari also took to her Instagram handle and captioned, “Are you ready for this? #indianwedding.”
Other RCB players who attended the party were Mohammed Siraj, Karn Sharma, Anuj Rawat and Siddharth Kaul.
RCB’s Director of Cricket Operations Mike Hesson also attended the party.
For the unversed, Glenn Maxwell and his long term girlfriend Vini Ramani tied the knot on March 18 in South Indian and Christian traditions.
