There is good news for the common people on the inflation front, cooperative oil companies have released the prices of petrol and diesel for Sunday, April 10.
Oil companies have given relief to the public for the third consecutive day and the rates of petrol and diesel have not been increased. In the last 20 days, the price of oil has increased by Rs 10 per liter across the country.
Earlier on Thursday and Friday also, oil prices were stable. Today is the third consecutive day when no change has been made in the rates of petrol and diesel. That is, people have relief from the rising prices of petrol and diesel. Earlier on Wednesday, an increase of 80 paise per liter was done. Even today, Wednesday’s prices are in effect across the country.
Earlier on Wednesday (April 6) the prices of both petrol and diesel were increased by 80 paise per liter.
Thus, the price of petrol and diesel has increased 14 times in the last 17 days. The price of petrol and diesel has increased by up to Rs 10 in 17 days.
Since March 22, the prices of petrol and diesel in the country have been increasing. Petrol and diesel prices were raised on March 22 after remaining stable for a record 137 days. Earlier, petrol and diesel prices had not increased for a long time. From November 4 last year till March 21, there was no increase in the prices of both fuels.
Petrol in Delhi today has become Rs 105 41 per liter while diesel is being sold at Rs 96 67 paise per liter. In Mumbai, the price of petrol and diesel is Rs 120.51 and Rs 104.77 per litre. Petrol in Kolkata costs Rs 115.12 while diesel costs Rs 99.83 per litre. At the same time, in Chennai, petrol is Rs 110.85 per liter and diesel is Rs 100.94 per liter.
