NEET UG 2022:
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2022 registration process is going to conclude on May 6. Those who are interested and have not registered yet can go to the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) — neet.nta.nic.in — to apply.
However, the application fee can be submitted by May 7. The registration process was commenced on April 6.
In an official notification, NTA said, “The Entrance Test shall consist of 200 multiple choice questions (four options with a single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). 50 questions in each subject will be divided into two Sections (A and B). The duration of the Examination will be 200 minutes (03 hours 20 minutes) from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (IST).”
The agency has informed that the entrance test will be conducted on nearly 543 centres across the nation. Meanwhile, the exam will be conducted at 14 cities outside India.
NEET (UG) 2022 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians only as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.
Application fee
Candidates will have to pay Rs 1600 as registration fee. Meanwhile, those who are from General-EWS/ OBC-NCL need to pay Rs 1500 and SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender are required to pay Rs 900.
The NTA will conduct the exam on July 17.
