India’s giant carmaker, Mercedes-Benz India has finally announced the commencement of bookings for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class exclusively for Mercedes-Benz customers from 13-30 April 2022. Is. Bookings for the remaining possibilities will start from 1st May 2022. A token amount of Rs 50,000 is being charged from customers for booking.
The new generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be launched in the Indian market on 10 May 2022. It will also be available digitally on its franchise partner network and on the Mercedes-Benz India online store.
Martin Schwenk, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, “The C-Class is an important product in our portfolio and will further strengthen our luxury sedan offering. With each new generation, the loyal customers of the C-Class continue to grow their lives. The car is preferred due to superior comfort, technical prowess and developed design.
The new C-Class will be setting new benchmark with excellent design, comfort and technical offerings, moving closer to the new S-Class, rightly underlining its popularity as the baby S-Class.
The new C-Class is equipped with complete generation upgrade, which revamps its exterior styling. The look is said to be inspired by inspired by the S-Class with similar front profile, LED headlamps, and a rather clean side profile. The sedan has grown 65mm longer, 10mm wider, and its wheelbase has also been extended by 25mm.
The cabin also has a fresh life, which is similar to its flashier sibling, the S-Class. The 2022 C-Class features a larger (choice of 10.25-inch or 11.9-inch) centrally-placed touchscreen infotainment with the second-gen MBUX infotainment system and a 12.3-inch fully digital driver’s display.
The new Mercedes Benz C-Class can be powered with 2-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engines, in different states of tune. All the engines will be paired to a 9-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
